How it works

Grab your link
Sign in and open Refer & earn. Your link and your code are already there — there is nothing to apply for.

They sign up
Anyone who follows your link is attributed to you for 90 days. They can also type your code at sign-up if the link got lost in a group chat.

They run a pool and pay
Nothing is earned on a sign-up alone. The reward is tied to a real purchase, which is why it is worth something.

You choose your reward
It shows up straight away as on hold, then it is yours after a short hold covering the refund window: a free Contest Pass or a month free, whenever you like.
Questions people actually ask
What is the reward?
For each organizer you bring in who pays, you choose one: a free Contest Pass (the first size, for any kind of contest) or a month free on your plan. On an annual plan that month is added to the end of your year. Keep it until you need it; you choose when you use it.
Is the reward cash?
No. It is a pass or a month of ChooseASquare, never money, which is also why there is no tax paperwork.
Do I have to be a paying customer to refer?
No. Anyone with a ChooseASquare account can refer, including a free one. On a free account, take the Contest Pass, or keep the reward until you have a plan.
When does it actually land?
When the person you referred pays for their first plan or pass, not when they sign up. It shows straight away as on hold and is yours to use after a short hold covering the refund window.
What happens if they get a refund?
An unused reward is reversed, and so is a pass you took with it that you have not used yet. A pass already running a pool, or a month already given, stays yours. If we later win a chargeback dispute the reward comes back.
How long does my link last?
Somebody who follows it stays attributed to you for 90 days, and an account can only ever be referred once. If two people share a link with the same person, the first one counts.
Can I refer myself, or my own second organization?
No. A referral has to be a different person paying with their own account. Self-referrals are reversed when we find them, and we do look.
