ChooseASquare Text Messaging Program
We use text messages for one thing: telling people about contests they are already running or playing in. Reminders before a deadline, an alert when a pool locks, a note when results are posted. Nothing else.
How you opt in
Signed-in members opt in from Profile → Notifications, by entering a mobile number and ticking a box that is not ticked for them. Nobody is enrolled by signing up, by buying anything, or by joining a contest. Consent is never a condition of using ChooseASquare.
Programme details
| What we send | Transactional messages about contests you run or take part in: pick and payment reminders, deadline and lock alerts, results and winner notifications. |

| Message frequency | Varies with your own activity — how many contests you are in and what you have asked to hear about. Most people receive a small number of messages around a contest deadline. |

| Opting out | Reply STOP to any message, or turn it off in Profile → Notifications. Opting out is immediate and permanent until you opt in again. |

| Carriers | Delivery depends on your carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. |
Your number is not shared
Mobile information and text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use service providers — including Twilio — to deliver messages on our behalf, and they may use the information only to provide that service.
