Fundraising Goal Calculator
Most fundraising advice starts with the format and hopes the number follows. This starts with the number. Tell it how many families you can realistically reach and what you have to raise, and it works backwards to the formats that get there — and tells you plainly when a goal needs more people than you have, which is the thing nobody says out loud until it is too late.
These are realistic gross figures at a typical price, not best-case. Whatever you run, you keep all of it — players pay you directly and ChooseASquare never takes a percentage of what you raise.
Questions people ask
What if the goal is out of reach with our numbers?
The tool says so rather than flattering you. Usually the answer is a format where each person contributes more than once — a season-long pool or a calendar — or widening past the roster to the wider community.
Which format raises the most?
Per person, a calendar fundraiser and an Adopt A Square board raise the most, because the amounts escalate. A one-off squares board is the easiest to sell but caps out at the price of 100 squares.
Does ChooseASquare take a percentage?
No. Players pay the organiser directly and the organiser keeps 100% of what is raised. We charge for the software, never a cut of the money.
We handle the selling, the collecting, the chasing and the scoring — numbers draw themselves, winners are worked out from the real scoreboard, and everyone can see the board on their phone. You keep 100% of what you raise.
