The complete guide

How a Century Club (X Club) works.

A Century Club — also called an X-Club, 100 Club, 300 Club or 500 Club — is a numbered-ticket raffle that doubles as a year-long fundraiser: sell a fixed set of numbered tickets at a set price, then draw winners on a schedule. Here’s how it works and why it raises so much.

What is a Century Club?

You sell a fixed number of numbered tickets — say 300 — at a set price each, then hold regular drawings (weekly or monthly) where a numbered ticket wins a prize. Because every ticket is in every drawing it didn’t already win, supporters stay engaged for the whole run, and the upfront sell-out funds your program for the year.

How it works

You choose the club size and price; the math does the rest:

ClubPrice / ticketRaised if sold out
100 Club$100$10,000
300 Club$100$30,000
500 Club$50$25,000

Then draw winners on your schedule with the prize amounts and tiers you set — and an optional “win once” rule so a ticket retires after it hits.

Why it raises so much

  • Big upfront: selling out funds the whole year at once.
  • Recurring drawings keep buyers engaged long after they’ve paid.
  • Per-seller quotas + leaderboards turn your roster into a sales force.
  • No event to host and no inventory — set the prizes and run the draws.

Drawings & prizes

Run drawings however you like: draw on demand or on a set schedule, award a single winner or multiple prize tiers per drawing, and optionally retire winning tickets so the prizes spread around. Every drawing and winner is tracked for you, with leaderboards for your sellers.

FAQ

Century Club (X Club), answered.

What is a Century Club (or X Club)?

A recurring raffle that funds your program over time — a 100, 300, or 500 Club. Supporters buy numbered squares, and you draw winners on a schedule (usually monthly) with prizes each period.

How do the drawings work?

Pick how many squares and how long the club runs, and drawings auto-schedule. Run each draw yourself (random or enter a number) or have it auto-draw on a date. A number can win once or stay eligible for future draws.

How are prizes funded?

Each drawing uses a pot → keep → distribute model: set how much the program keeps, then split the rest across prize tiers (1st/2nd/3rd or more) as cash or physical prizes, with per-draw overrides for bigger months.

Which plan is it on?

The Century Club is available on Pro Commissioner. There’s no platform fee for players — they only pay the ticket price you set.

Can sellers help, with quotas?

Yes — set target squares per seller (with an optional hard cap), and add seller leaderboards and top-seller prizes on the applicable plans.

How do supporters pay?

Directly to your organization via Venmo, PayPal, check, or cash. ChooseASquare never holds or processes the money.
