Dancing With the Stars Pool
Pick your champion. Call the scores.
A fantasy league for Dancing With the Stars. Back one celebrity for the season and, each round, call who tops the judges’ leaderboard and who takes the Last Dance. Your couple scores for every round survived, for finishing top of the judges’ leaderboard, and for a perfect routine — every judge’s maximum on an individually scored dance. A performance night plus a results show is one round, so nobody gets double credit for two nights.

A Reality Pass covers one reality pool for one season, priced on how many people play. It works only on a reality pool, and reality is included on Pro Commissioner and Organization with no pass at all. Priced by how many entries you need.
Bigger sizes cost less per entry. Outgrow the one you picked and you can resize later, paying only the difference.
The complete guide
How a Dancing With the Stars Pool works.
A Dancing With the Stars pool is the simplest way to watch a season with your family, your office or your group chat and have something riding on every round.
The one decision: your couple
Back the couple you think wins. You cannot drop them while they are in, so the points reward conviction: +1 for the first round they survive, +2 for the second, up to +5 every round after that. If they win, you get +20 and a loyalty bonus of +2 for every round you backed them, up to +20 more.
The calls you make every round
| Call | What it asks |
|---|---|
| Top of the Leaderboard | Who finishes highest on the judges’ leaderboard — +5, ties all count |
| Last Dance | Who is eliminated — +8 |
| Who wins the Mirrorball? (finale) | +8 |
How the points add up
| Event | Points |
|---|---|
| Your couple survives a round | +1, +2, +3, +4, then +5 |
| Tops the judges’ leaderboard | +5 (tied leaders all score) |
| A perfect routine | +3, once per round |
| Reaches the finale | +10 once |
| Wins the Mirrorball | +20 plus up to +20 loyalty |
| Eliminated | −5 |
These are the defaults. A commissioner can change any value before the first picks lock.

The edge cases, decided in advance
- A professional partner is substituted: your pick follows the celebrity, and keeps its loyalty.
- A team dance or a dance-off scores 30/30: not a perfect routine — only an individually scored couple routine counts.
- A withdrawal or injury: no −5, not a Last Dance, and you pick a replacement.
- A non-elimination round: Last Dance is void; survival and leaderboard still score.
FAQ
Dancing With the Stars Pool, answered.
How does a Dancing With the Stars pool work?+
Everyone backs one couple for the season — the same couple can be backed by any number of people — and makes fresh calls before every round. Your couple earns points as the season goes; your calls earn points when they come true. The leaderboard adds both.
Is this the same as voting on the show?+
No. Your picks are predictions inside your pool, not votes submitted to ABC.
Who enters the results?+
We do. ChooseASquare publishes each round’s results once, and every pool following the season scores itself within moments. You never type a result. Spotted a mistake? Tell us and we correct it — every pool re-scores, and nobody’s pick history changes.
What if my couple goes out?+
You pick a replacement for the next round that has not locked. Points you already earned stay; the replacement’s loyalty starts again at +1. You cannot swap a couple who is still in — that is the whole game.
What about spoilers?+
Turn on the spoiler shield and the pool hides every result you have not revealed yet — standings, who is out, even your own couple’s fate — until you tap to reveal it. Reminders tell you when your calls lock and never what happened.
Can we play for money?+
Reality pools do not collect entry fees through ChooseASquare yet. Run it for bragging rights, or settle any side pot between yourselves — the leaderboard is the record.
What does it cost?+
A Reality Pass is per season, priced on how many people play: $9 for up to 10, $19 for 25, $29 for 50 and up from there. Reality is included on Pro Commissioner and Organization with no pass needed.
Can I join after the season has started?+
A pool takes new entries until its first picks lock. Start one before the next round airs and it plays from there — nobody earns points for rounds the pool did not play.
Is ChooseASquare affiliated with the show?+
No. ChooseASquare is an independent pool platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Dancing With the Stars, its producers or its network.
