The Traitors Pool

Back your player. Predict the betrayal.

A fantasy league for The Traitors. Back one player for the whole game — Faithful, Traitor or unknown — and before each release predict two things: the first banishment revealed and the first murder revealed. Episodes that drop together are one prediction window, so nobody can binge ahead and pick. Hidden roles stay hidden in the pool until the show reveals them, and co-winners all count.

Not open for pools yet. We open The Traitors pools for a season once we have loaded its cast and episode schedule — a pool can still start mid-season and plays from the next episode. Every rule below is how it plays.

The complete guide

How a The Traitors Pool works.

A The Traitors pool is the simplest way to watch a season with your family, your office or your group chat and have something riding on every episode.

The one decision: your player

Back the player you think wins. You cannot drop them while they are in, so the points reward conviction: +1 for the first episode they survive, +2 for the second, up to +5 every episode after that. If they win, you get +20 and a loyalty bonus of +2 for every episode you backed them, up to +20 more.

The calls you make every episode

CallWhat it asks
Next BanishedThe first banishment revealed in the release — +8
Next MurderedThe first successful murder revealed in the release — +8
Name a winner (finale)Any confirmed winner counts — +8

How the points add up

EventPoints
Your player survives an episode+1, +2, +3, +4, then +5
Obtains a shield+3, once per episode
In the game when it officially ends+10 once
A confirmed winner+20 plus up to +20 loyalty — every co-winner counts in full
Banished−5
Murderedno penalty (a murder can remove a strong Faithful)

These are the defaults. A commissioner can change any value before the first picks lock.

The edge cases, decided in advance

  • Three episodes drop at once: one Next Banished and one Next Murdered call covers the whole drop, and every pick locks before it is released.
  • A cliffhanger murder: scored when the show first confirms it, and never twice at breakfast.
  • A blocked or abandoned murder: not a murder — it does not count.
  • Recruitment: your pick and its loyalty stay exactly as they were.

FAQ

The Traitors Pool, answered.

How does a The Traitors pool work?

Everyone backs one player for the season — the same player can be backed by any number of people — and makes fresh calls before every episode. Your player earns points as the season goes; your calls earn points when they come true. The leaderboard adds both.

Will the pool spoil who the Traitors are?

No. A role is held back from every screen, list and score explanation until the show has revealed it — that is built into the data, not a blur on the screen.

Who enters the results?

We do. ChooseASquare publishes each episode’s results once, and every pool following the season scores itself within moments. You never type a result. Spotted a mistake? Tell us and we correct it — every pool re-scores, and nobody’s pick history changes.

What if my player goes out?

You pick a replacement for the next episode that has not locked. Points you already earned stay; the replacement’s loyalty starts again at +1. You cannot swap a player who is still in — that is the whole game.

What about spoilers?

Turn on the spoiler shield and the pool hides every result you have not revealed yet — standings, who is out, even your own player’s fate — until you tap to reveal it. Reminders tell you when your calls lock and never what happened.

Can we play for money?

Reality pools do not collect entry fees through ChooseASquare yet. Run it for bragging rights, or settle any side pot between yourselves — the leaderboard is the record.

What does it cost?

A Reality Pass is per season, priced on how many people play: $9 for up to 10, $19 for 25, $29 for 50 and up from there. Reality is included on Pro Commissioner and Organization with no pass needed.

Can I join after the season has started?

A pool takes new entries until its first picks lock. Start one before the next episode airs and it plays from there — nobody earns points for episodes the pool did not play.

Is ChooseASquare affiliated with the show?

No. ChooseASquare is an independent pool platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to The Traitors, its producers or its network.
